They are extension and specialization courses for agile professionals, developed by the specialized training centers in the Scrum Manager network.
They complement the core courses by extending training into further topics and practices: each course can offer specific training covering one or more topics, and even particular professional skills. The core courses and the specialization topics they can cover are published on this page.
Every approved course appears in the public Scrum Manager catalog, and its students earn certifications registered by Scrum Manager.

Two, corresponding to a course's natural progression:
- Approved syllabus. Scrum Manager has reviewed the syllabus, and it meets the minimum competencies and assessment criteria for the subject area, published in the approvals guide. The center may deliver the course and register certifications.
- Approved course. The course has consolidated its approval through real-world activity: deliveries and student quality ratings — at least two calls and an average rating above 8 out of 10.
Both are current approval statuses; the second adds to the first the evidence of delivery with quality verified by students. In these FAQs, "approved courses" refers to the category as a whole; the labels "Approved syllabus" and "Approved course" indicate each course's approval status.
Centers can provide:
- Approval certificate. The center can provide the course's approval certificate, issued by the Scrum Manager platform. It states the center, the course and its subject area, the approval status (approved syllabus or approved course), the approval date — and, where applicable, the consolidation date — and the issue date, and it includes a verification code with a web address and QR code.
- Live verification. The certificate's verification address leads to a public Scrum Manager page, with no registration required, that shows the course's current status at the time of the lookup.
Certifications registered by Scrum Manager, with their Skill Points (SP) and an online learning record: each student can view and share their certifications from their member's area, and any third party can verify them. Training thus leaves an individual, permanent, and verifiable record.
