A sprint is the time cycle in which each iterative increment of the product is developed. It is the container for all other events in technical Scrum and the fundamental cadence mechanism of the framework. Each sprint produces a usable increment.

Depending on the characteristics of the project and the team's judgement, sprints usually last no less than one week and no more than one month. Most commonly, they always have the same length, setting a cadence, but this cadence may evolve or be adjusted.
